I'll be coming back soon and be resuming my side hobby as subbing videos for Hmong people with Hmoob subtitles.

And believe me, HlubHmoobSubs is not just about subbing videos because I got a DVD for you all on the way!!!!!!! I planned out that 100 subscribers on youtube would be getting my DVD share, but I've changed my mind and I'll just share you all what I have or give you for now.

Guess!!! Nah, I'll just say it. I have the AYouDuo Music Video DVD for you all!!!!!! This music video DVD is quite hard to find now because it is out of print for couple years. You might see it at Hmong New Year etc., but you don't have to waste your money on it. I've gotten AYouDuo's athletic music video DVD, not bootleg whatsoever ripped off of youtube or something like that. :)

I know many of you probably seen all her music videos on youtube, or other websites, but this DVD has karaoke on it and the video qualities are GREAT! I'll upload it soon.

If you all think this is the last DVD I'll share, you're wrong! I have many more DVDs to share you all, but one thing I just want from you all is NOT TO SHARE MY DVDS ANYWHERE, but REDIRECT IT TO HERE. I'm a smart guy and I will know if my DVD are being reupload. The horrible consequences of reuploading my DVDs somewhere will be in secret. If you're gonna upload it onto a different hosting website, please message me on youtube and I will share and credit for those who uploaded to a different hosting website.

I've decide that I should take a little break for awhile and then resume my fansubbing work later on. I'm not a robot who would fansub all day long, and I need to enjoy life for a bit before resuming my fansub. Well, I've decide that I perhaps should sub a movie, but I haven't decide yet if I should sub it or not. Before, I was planning on subbing some Thai music videos, but I think I will put that on hold for now too. My subbing schedule for me is unconfirmed, so please be patient with me.

Other than that, please enjoy all the music videos I have so far. :D

New Letter Notice ~ 7-18-12 ~ Hmong Chinese music videos

Hello Everyone! Nyob Zoo Txhua Tus!

Recently, I had an explosive comments and tons of requests on to sub more Hmoob music videos, specifically from China. From the previous Hmong Chinese music videos, I mainly had my friends translate it for me to english and then I translate into Hmong. So the thing is, I cannot always ask my friend to help me translate it for me because they are very busy. If my fellow subscribers wants more Hmong Chinese music videos being sub, please be very patience. I myself am learning Chinese (Mandarin) and I hope one day I can translate them without any help.

Since I'm pretty much the only person here in this fansub I've created who subs, please be very patience with me also. Let me tell you all how its a bit more complex to sub Hmong Chinese music videos and so on. The big problem is finding the Chinese lyrics. Finding the Chinese lyrics is hard because these songs are not "big" for the Chinese people, but only big within the Hmong Chinese communities only. To be honest, when I subbed "Noog Coob Quaj", the Chinese characters were very hard to read for a newbie in Chinese language and plus, they were so small for me to even notice the strokes and all for the characters. After researching online, I luckily found the Chinese lyrics, and rewrite them out (as like in figuring out the actual characters) because the Chinese lyrics were on an image file. That was how I was able to sub "Noog Coob Quaj". As for AYouDuo's music video were easy lyrics to find because it is basically sung in Chinese and had already been released with Chinese lyrics. Everything is a lot harder than it seems. Let just say that Hmong/Miao Chinese songs sung in Chinese are easier to find and able to be translate while Hmong/Miao Chinese songs sung in their original dialects are a lot harder to translate with little information in Chinese.

On the Thai trailer, it mentioned "Best of the Festival". I wonder what if the movie was recognized as one of the best film, or its gonna be show to somewhere in Thailand. I'm pretty sure it is something like that. I'm still not sure though. If anyone know how to read Thai, make sure to let everyone know! Please just comment below on this post would be nice enough. :)

Just remember that I translate this song with the chinese lyrics first and then decide carefully on what they are saying by listening, so it is not a Hmong-to-Hmong literal translation. It is mostly a translation from the Chinese lyrics.

"Noog Tsoob Quaj / Nongs Jongb Ghuat" is what people call a "Laughingthrush". In Chinese, it would be called "HuaMei / 画眉". I honestly don't know if Hmong Laotian/Thai dialects have a word for the Laughingthrush, but in the lyrics, that is what the Hmong Chinese call them.

I'm sorry if I made some mistake(s) on the Hmong lyrics. There are some word(s) which can't be translate into Hmong or words that are not necessary need to be translate is for why I left some words like that. Other than that, ENJOY!

I'll scratch out Korean because I'm pretty much subbing korean music videos. So, I will start and more often sub Chinese and Thai music videos. For Chinese music videos, majority of people wants & would like to see more Hmong Chinese songs get Hmong sub, so I'll put that on my list. :)

Okay, this is not really a problem or anything, but this explanation is just to help you all more, txhua tus. Do people need some help with downloading the music videos? I've checked my mediafire account and when it comes to a 2-part music video download links, majority would download only 1 of them. I'm not sure if you don't want to download all of the links, or if you just download one part and was like "Why is the file not playing at at?". People, just remember, if you really need help, make sure to download BOTH of the files and join them with Hjsplit or FFSJ [Please refer at the FAQ/Frequently Asked Questions for help].  Thank you!
